Who I am
I’m Oscar Lara—queer, neurodivergent, endlessly designing, always observing. I’m a systems thinker with a poet’s heart and a love for visual storytelling that disrupts, connects, and clarifies. I’ve spent years managing chaos in logistics and finding patterns in disorder, and I now bring that same energy to design. I create things that are meant to work—for real people, in real messy lives. I believe accessibility isn’t optional, that aesthetics should evoke emotion, and that design has the power to make space for everyone, especially those often overlooked.
Things I love
I’m passionate about building inclusive experiences, blending bold visuals with thoughtful function, and designing for brains that don’t follow the default setting. I love music, mythology, Magic: The Gathering, late-night sketch sessions, neon lights, speculative fiction, and the strange beauty of being human. Whether I’m designing an interface, writing a poem, or creating characters with tangled pasts, I’m always chasing resonance—the feeling that something clicks.
