— AL HIRSCHFELD
Art has always been the engine that moves me. An integral part of who I am and what I do.
Art has not only been the outlet for my fears, my passions, and my desires, but also a portal to a deeper understanding of who we are as people, as a society,
I started drawing since a very young age and I have had great mentors along the way. I have worked as an illustrator for authors and done design work for media personalities, emerging influencers and content creators and numerous internal works for different companies.
Currently I am seeking to formalize my experience as a student for Southern New Hampshire University. Being a member of the bachelor’s degree program on Graphic Design and a Major in User Experience. I get to combine my knowledge, my sensitivity as an artist and the most current technology and industry standards to deliver my content.
Another part of my artistic journey has been writing.
Starting from journaling and moving to poetry, I have participated in several writing contests, and I am currently seeking to complete writing and hopefully publish my current work on poems, short stories, and a novel.
As part of the visual arts, I enjoy and do photography.
My subjects are usually the world around me. I love to see places that are usually full of life empty.
There is a sense of quiet calm and uneasiness in seeing an avenue with only flashing lights, a school with only a lonely car or even your house without those you love.
Walk, find that empty bench and take a snap before it too awakes.
